From a local clinic to a provincial training center 

Very compassionate and professional, I have been treated more than once for fractures and I am very satisfied and will continue to trust and gladly more than happy to recommend him to anyone looking for professional staff!!!! Being a fan of rather extreme competitive sports, I'm often all broken ☹ It's so important for me to know that you're always there to fix me! I can count on both Charles and Claudine to work miracles. And always on time without having to take out a "subscription" as other professionals often require. I also really like the "participatory" approach that you advocate. You suggest exercises for me to do at home to speed up my recovery. So if I want it to go quickly and well, it's my responsibility to do the exercises. This means less dependence on the therapist. Which is very good. And what about your front desk staff: if I could, I would give them an 11 out of 10!!! Always smiling and always trying to find a solution. That's service! Bravo again to your whole fantastic team. During the pandemic, I came across physiotherapist Alexis Gougeon's podcasts on Spotify. All the episodes were very interesting because he had guests for each different topic. I've seen many physiotherapists due to numerous injuries while playing many sports; some were good and others were just okay. I got the idea to consult Alexis at his Physioactif clinic in Laval because I thought I had a bunion growing on my left foot. It was a very, very different experience. First of all, we developed a realistic plan together in terms of expectations and timelines. Secondly, he never used 'tens', ultrasound, ice, heat, or anything else. He was very professional and always punctual. He has the ability to explain complicated conditions in a simple way. When I least expected it, he brought back the initial plan we had developed together (which I had totally forgotten). We were able to conclude together, step by step, with some exercises that I could do from home. He kindly offered that we could communicate by email if I had any concerns about my injury. I highly recommend this clinic because all the staff are very professional, welcoming, efficient, and accommodating, from the receptionists to the physiotherapists.

I had an issue with my elbow for months, and an osteotherapist couldn't help me even though she identified that the problem was coming from a nerve. A friend recommended that I see Myriam for physiotherapy. I was skeptical about physiotherapy, but I am really happy with the result. Myriam very quickly identified the problem nerve and was able to treat me to release it. Over a few weeks, with exercises, advice, and treatments, everything went back to normal. Myriam understands what's happening when you describe pain to her, she expresses her analysis well, and you can see that she has a good grasp of how the human body works. In addition, she is super friendly, very engaging, and made me feel comfortable right away. I highly recommend her care!

Very good service, helped me quickly recover from my back pain

I really enjoyed my physiotherapy experience at the Physioactif clinic in Laval. I was very well supported throughout my injury. I highly recommend this clinic to everyone, because the physiotherapists are passionate and take the time to listen to us to understand our needs and requests regarding our injuries. They offer us a very high quality service. For example, during a time when I was discouraged about not being able to practice my sport, Alexis Gougeon, my physio, changed my exercises and we reviewed my training recovery plan, which allowed me to regain my motivation.
